News: Dr. Sorcha MacLeod Appointed as Marie Curie Fellow

Researching Human Rights and Private Security
Dr. Sorcha MacLeod, an Associate Professor in the Centre for Private Governance (CEPRI) at the University of Copenhagen, has been awarded a Marie Curie Fellowship.
Dr. MacLeod's research focuses on business human rights and security, particularly the human rights impacts of Private Military and Security Companies (PMSCs). As a Marie Curie Fellow, she will investigate the regulation of PMSCs in conflict zones.
Dr. MacLeod is an experienced teacher and researcher. She has published numerous articles on human rights, international humanitarian law, and PMSCs. She is also a member of the International Bar Association's Human Rights Institute.
Dr. MacLeod's work is important in raising awareness of the human rights challenges posed by PMSCs. Her research will contribute to the development of effective regulations to ensure that PMSCs operate in a responsible manner.
